DRIVING METHOD FOR THREE-PHASE STEP MOTOR

PURPOSE:To provide a driving method for three-phase step motor to be employed in various electric machines in which inherent vibration it suppressed and smooth driving is realized. CONSTITUTION:Two-phase conduction for feeding power from the first terminal 14 to the second terminal 15 out of three terminals of a three-phase star- connected step motor and three-phase conduction for simultaneously feeding power from the first terminal 14 to the second terminal 15 and from the third terminal 16 to the second terminal 15 are repeated to conduct the coils sequentially according to a specified sequence. Consequently, the step motor is rotated for every half of basic step angle resulting in low vibration driving.
