Ventricular extrasystole is defined as a ventricular detection not preceded by an atrial event in a time interval of 300 ms. In the event of detection of a ventricular extrasystole outside this interval, a ventriculoatrial delay (VA) is triggered for possible stimulation of the atrium, and a temporary minimum period (PMT) is triggered for possible stimulation of the ventricle. <IMAGE>
