<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a paper jam due to the defective conveyance of sheets and surely align the sheets in bins by providing a means variably controlling the sheet discharging linear velocity of a sheet conveyance driving means via the sheet size signal, and setting the sheet discharging linear velocity for the small size lower than the sheet discharging linear velocity for the large size. CONSTITUTION:The mechanism section of a driving device is provided on the base section 10 of a sorter main body, a rotary encoder is stored in a main motor fixed to the base section 10, and the rotating speed is made variable. The main motor rotates a conveying belt 22 via a transmission device. The rotating linear velocity V2 of the conveying belt 22 is set higher than the fixing/ paper discharging velocity V1 in the fixing device of a copying machine main body (V2>V1). The linear velocity V3 of the conveying belt of an intermediate conveyance section 10 is set higher than the linear velocity V2 of the conveying belt 13 of a guide section 20 (V3>V2). Sheets are stored regularly and stably in bins and processed by the control of the sheet conveying speed.</p> |
