A lifting device for lifting loads positioned on a platform, the lifting device comprising at least one coupling means for lifting it; at least one lifting means arranged to be pushed horizontally under the platform and supported by the coupling means (5) at one end; and a protective framework (2) positioned above the lifting means and comprising protective walls surrounding the load on all sides. The lifting device comprises a fixed protective framework (2) surrounding the load and arranged to be lowered over the load from above it, and a lifting means mounted by means of supports (8) in the protective framework so as to rest on support pipes (3), the lifting means being displaceable in the transverse direction of the protective framework (2) under the framework and away therefrom. |
