PURPOSE:To suppress undershoot/overshoot caused by enhancement processing and to suppress noise emphasis. CONSTITUTION:The picture processing unit is a picture diagnostic device 31 comprising a 1st data processing unit 24 calculating a difference between an image data of an aimed pixel and an image data of a pixel in the vicinity of the aimed pixel and executing the smoothing processing based on the difference of the data with distinction, and a 2nd data processing unit 37 calculating the difference between the image data via the 1st data processing unit 24 and the image data of a pixel in the vicinity of the aimed pixel and executing the enhancement processing based on the difference with distinction. Thus, it is prevented that an undershoot/overshoot is misunderstood to be a change to a morbid state and the diagnosis is implemented without being disturbed by noise. |
