PURPOSE:To provide a printing apparatus reduced in operation sound by reducing the neoise generated by cooling fins without reducing radiation action. CONSTITUTION:A resin vibration-proof member 9 is provided to the end parts of a plurality of the cooling fins 8b provided to the rear of a printing head 8 so as to cover said cooling fins 8. The sonic waves generated by the forcible vibration of the cooling fins 8 are repeatedly reflected in the passages formed by the cooling fins 8 and the vibration-proof member 9 to be attenuated and, further, by inserting the cooling fins 8b in the vibration-proof member 9, the individual movement of the cooling fins 8b is prevented and the generation of noise due to resonance can be suppressed low. |
