PURPOSE:To make an exclusive eraser unnecessary by erasing an image formed on a photosensitive material utilizing a second exposure means for exposing the photosensitive material based on a digital image recording signal CONSTITUTION:An erase controller is provided with a first exposure means for forming image and exposing reflected light irradiated on a manuscript, on a photosensitive material, and a second exposure means for exposing the photosensitive material based on a digital image recording signal, and the image on the photosensitive material is electrostatically recorded on a decalcomania paper sheet. Ignition of a LED printer head as a second exposure means is controlled in terms of time. Namely, a gate signal is formed by the output of two counters 1, 2, and the both sides of the LED printer head are ignited by the gate signal, and side erasing is carried out, while driving pulse of a stepping motor for rotating and driving the photosensitive material is counted so as to detect timing, and the LED printer head is wholly ignited for a predetermined period of time in the width direction of an electrostatic latent image, so as to carry out front end or rear end erasing. |
