PURPOSE:To obtain a extrusion foamed body excellent in fire retardancy and flexibility by using a polystyrenic resin satisfying the standard due to the combustion test method entered in JIS A9511 as self-extingushing properties and having quantity of breaking deflection in bending being a barometer of flexibility of 35mm or more. CONSTITUTION:A polystyrenic resin to be used, for example, polystyrene, a styrene/alpha-methylstyrene copolymer and the like are designated and used alone or in a mixed form and one with etasp(100mg/10cc toluene solution of polystyrenic resin, 30 deg.C) of 0.6-1.6 is used. As a fire retardant, a bromine type one such as hexabromocyclododecane is pref. and the content thereof is pref. 0.5-5.0 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the polystyrenic resin. |
