<p>The apparatus comprises a container (1) for adhesive paste (2), a plurality of rollers (3, 4, 5) mounted in the container and a drive transfer means which ensures that the rotation of one roller produces rotation in the other rollers. The drive transfer means may take the form of a set of interlocking gears positioned on the rollers. Means for mounting a roll (10) of wall-covering material may be provided in the container; these may be a shaft (8) and notches (9). Guide members (15, 22, 12) may be provided to direct the wall-covering material as it passes through the apparatus. In using the apparatus, an operator draws the wall-covering material (11) between the rollers (3, 4, 5) so that the rollers are rotated and at least one surface of the material (11) comes into contact with the adhesive paste.</p> |
