<p>A preventive or remedy for free radical-induced tissue disorder, which contains a η-L-glutamyl-L-cysteine ester derivative represented by general formula (I) or its dimer in oxidized form as an active ingredient wherein R represents C1 to C10 linear, branched or cyclic hydrocarbyl or aromatic-substituted C1 to C5 linear or branched hydrocarbyl. The above compound has tissue glutathione improving and biochemical glutathione replacing and reperfusion-induced tissue disorder of the heart, liver, etc., arrhythmia, and pulmonary disorder caused by activated oxygen.</p> |
