The dispensing bag is held with its upper end in a nozzle and with the lower end squeezed by a sliding collar held by ratchet strips up the inside of the housing. Two ratchet strips move reciprocally to move the collar stepwise and dispense the material. The ratchets are moved by a cam (N) operated by a twist collar (R) around the bottom of the tube. A cap covers the top of the dispenser. The twist collar enables a large force to be applied via the cam to dispense viscous materials. A one handed application is possible by gripping the housing and moving the collar with the thumb.
