<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a video map device which can change or update a video map data easily without causing any trouble in operation of a radar system even if the video map data is changed. CONSTITUTION:When a video map data is changed, a video map ROM data creation system 13 changes or updates the video map data and then writes it into a RAM board portion 4 and a control portion 1 switches first and second memory switching portions 3 and 5 to a side of the RAM board portion 4 and then outputs the video map data to a video map data transmission portion 11. On the other hand, a video map data which is changed or updated by the video map ROM creation system 13 is written into the ROM. Then, the ROM is replaced and the first and second memory switching portions 3 and 5 are switched to a side of a ROM board 10, thus enabling the changed or updated video map data to be output to a video map data transmission portion 11.</p> |
