<p>PURPOSE:To provide a baking furnace, quick in temperature rising speed and temperature decreasing speed, small in the consuming amount of energy under high temperature retaining condition, easy in atmosphere control and capable of coding with flexible manufacturing. CONSTITUTION:A hearth 14 is pivoted about a point P sequentially and relatively with respect to temperature decreasing furnace bodies 13A, 13C and high temperature retaining furnace bodies 13B, 13D. During the pivoting, works to be baked in baking boxes 12, retreated into recesses 19 formed on the hearth 14, are elevated into furnace chambers 16, 18 above said furnace bodies 13A, 13C, 13B, 13D through lower openings 15, 17 formed below the temperature decreasing furnace bodies 13A, 13C and the high temperature retaining furnace bodies 13B, 13D whereby the temperature rising, high temperature retaining and temperature decreasing of the works are effected. According to this method, the works to be baked are moved to the furnace bodies 13A, 13B, 13C or furnace bodies 13C, 13D, 13A sequentially in accordance with respective heat treatment stages of temperature rising, high temperature retaining and temperature decreasing whereby one series of heat treatment can be effected.</p> |
