<p>A monolithic upper section contains a boiler (14) surrounding an initial cooking chamber (1). A lower section contains a final cooking chamber (12) aligned vertically with the upper chamber (1). Superheated water is piped from the boiler (14) into the upper chamber (1). Valve controlled piping (22) transfers steam from the upper chamber (11) to the lower chamber (12) and discharges steam and cooking water from the lower chamber, to maintain predetermined temperature and pressure levels within the two chambers (11, 12). Ball valves (18b, 18c) in the lower ends of the two chambers (11, 12) allow the partially cooked product and cooking water to drop from the upper chamber (11) into the lower chamber (12), and the drained fully cooked product to drop from the lower chamber (12) onto a serving plate (13).</p> |
