The description relates to novel organo(poly)siloxanes of the general formula (I): (R<1>O)aHSiR2-aO[SiR2O]nSiR2R<2>, in which R and R<2> are the same or different and represent a monovalent, possibly substituted hydrocarbon radical; R<1> is the same or different and represents a monovalent, possibly substituted hydrocarbon radical; n is a whole number of at least 2; and a is 1 or 2. The organo(poly)siloxanes are used as additives in materials which can be cross-linked to form organopolysiloxane elastomers.
