Core blowing installation - utilising two faces of the core box

The installation for core blowing with core sand has a core box (2) with two opposite faces (7, 9) accommodating inlets (6, 8) which enable core sand to be blown into the core profiles (3, 4) by means of a top blowing head (11) and by a further, bottom blowing head (12). Blowing of sand into the top and bottom inlets takes place at the same time. USE/ADVANTAGE - The invention can be used in core-making and casting industries. Its use will result in increased productivity in comparison with the methods currently in use. It does not suffer from the drawbacks (resulting in scrap) inherent in certain methods in which only one face of the core box is used.
