The invention describes an injection device (1) for use once only, with a cylinder to contain the substance to be injected, a piston (8) guided in the cylinder (2) and a piston rod (6) attached to the piston (8) via a connecting device (7). An injection needle (4) is fitted at the end of the cylinder (2) opposite the piston rod (6). Between the piston (8) and the piston rod (6) an original securing device (9) has an opening device (30) secured to the piston (8) and/or the piston rod (6) or arranged between them. Between the piston rod (6) and the piston (8), the connecting device (7) has a carrier (40) forming a coupler connected to move with the piston rod (6) on the side of the piston (8) facing the injection needle (4) and a connector (48) in the form of a sealing device (45), in which the sealing device (45) bears on a sealing surface (44) arranged on a side of the carrier (40) facing said sealing device in a pull-out position. |
