PURPOSE:To prevent a vital tissue from adhering to a processing electrode by coating the surface of the processing electrode with a conducting Teflon in the cauterization of a lesion tissue by a high frequency current which is fed to the processing electrode to be inserted into a body cavity through an endoscope or the like. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency processing apparatus is provided with a processing electrode 2 at the tip of an inserting part 1 to be inserted into a body cavity through an endoscope and an operating part 3 at the rear end of the inserting part 1. The inserting part 1 is made up of a Teflon tube or the like and the processing electrode 2 is made up of a wire 4 as being bent in U. A coating of a conducting Teflon 5 is applied on the surface of the wire 4. One end of the wire 4 is fixed on a mobile ring 6 provided in the inserting part 1 free to slide and the other end is connected to a slider 7 of the operating part 3. Thus, coating of the surface of the processing electrode 2, namely, the wire 4 with the conducting 'Teflon' 5 enables the preventing of a lesion tissue from adhering to the processing electrode 2. |
