PURPOSE:To prevent foreign matter from mixing in a nozzle when ink is wiped off by a method wherein the foreign matter in an ink passage of an ink head is removed by doing so as to wipe the nozzle under a state wherein ink is jetted from the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Ink is pressurized in an ink tank with a pressure device 14 to be jetted from a nozzle of an ink head 3. A cap component 4 of each nozzle is provided in front of the ink head 3. A cap proper 5 of the cap component 4 can be stuck fast to a presser board 12 in front of an ink head fixing stand 2, and a wiper device 18 is provided inside. The wiper device 18, when the cap proper 5 has been stuck fast to the presser board 5, abuts against a front face of the ink head 3, and is swung with a driving device 17. For recovery operation, the cap proper 5 is stuck fast to the presser board 12. The pressure device 14 is driven and besides, the ink is the cap proper 5 is conducted into a waste solution tank 22 with a suction device 21. When pressure inside the ink tank 13 has reached a specific value, the nozzle part is wiped by driving the wiper device 18. |
