PURPOSE:To prevent a water feeding capability from being decreased by a method wherein a water tank for storing water for humidifying and a humidifying element of which part is immersed into the water tank are provided, the humidifying element is disposed in an air passage when a humidifying operation is carried out and a humidifying element moving means to be moved to an outside part of the air passage when the humidifying operation is stopped. CONSTITUTION:An operating rod 33 extending to a downstream side of an air passage A is fixed to a humidifying element 21 to which a nut 30 is fixed. The operating rod 33 is constructed to selectively contact the first sensing switch 34 for sensing that all humidifying elements 21 are disposed within the air passage A and the second sensing switch 35 for sensing that it is disposed outside the air passage A. Since the humidifying elements 21 can be moved outside the air passage A when the humidifying operation is stopped by a control part 11a, a shaft 28, a geared motor 29, and nuts 30, 31 or the like acting as the humidifying element moving means, the humidifying elements 21 are hardly contacted with an air flow while the humidifying operation is stopped. |
