<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an abnormal track pattern by arranging a pair of magnetic gaps having azimuth angles different from each other so that they can have a difference approximately equivalent to that between the tracks on a magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Recording tracks 81 and 82 on a magnetic tape 80 recorded by a magnetic head are recorded with the step difference equivalent to a step difference GL in a head scanning direction of a pair of magnetic gaps g1 and g2. Accordingly, at the respective magnetic gaps g1 and g2, the end part of image areas 81a and 82a or sound area 81b and 82b of their respective recording tracks 81 and 82 are reached simultaneously. As a result, when an after- recording in which sound signals are recorded afterward is performed, the after-recording of each signal can be excellently conducted without the trouble of crosstalk.</p> |
