PURPOSE: To provide a bellows used for a bellows pump and the like. CONSTITUTION: This biaxial flexible bellows 31 is composed of a cylindrical member 3 which consists of a biaxial flexible wave sheet material 1, and rigidity close plates 33, 45 fixed retreating for one step on each of upper and lower parts of the cylindrical member 3. The biaxial wave sheet material is composed of a plurality of identically-shaped unparallel quadrilateral segments 5, and has a characteristic which simultaneously expanded or contracted in a direction perpendicular to each other. It is thus possible to enlarge the bellows in both directions of an axial direction and a diameter direction. In the case where it is used for a pump, it is possible to obtain an effect for increasing a displacement volume per stroke. |
