A current leadthrough for a current conductor arranged in a vessel, preferably an insulated vessel for the storage of low-boiling liquefied gases, the current conductor being led through a lead-through opening which is sealed off in an insulated manner with respect to the current conductor, is vacuum-tight and remains operational even after extreme hot/cold changes, is characterised according to the invention in that the insulation comprises a plastic tube (26, 42) which is connected on the one hand to the leadthrough opening (27) and on the other hand to a connection opening (28) in a current conductor connection piece (29).
