BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To attain rational saving by informing a period control signal of saving to a mobile equipment through an outgoing control channel in response to the traffic of a position registration signal or a dial signal on an incoming control channel. CONSTITUTION:A means detecting a traffic of a dial signal included in an incoming control channel sent from each mobile equipment to a radio base station in control A is provided to a public communication network side or a radio base station. Then a signal to set a battery saving period corresponding to the traffic of the position registration signal is informed to each mobile equipment under the control of the radio base station through an outgoing channel to set the battery saving period of each mobile equipment. Each mobile equipment receives this signal and starts the reception of the call signal for the designated battery saving period.
