PURPOSE:To provide spherical fine particles of colored resin having small particle size and narrow particle size distribution, not deteriorating the electrostatic chargeability because of the lipophilic surfaces and preventing fogging after copying and the scattering of a colorant coated with a vinyl polymer. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl polymer is dissolved in an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent and a colorant is dispersed in the solvent. A vinyl monomer compsn. soluble in the solvent and forming a vinyl polymer insoluble in the solvent is polymerized in the solvent and this solvent is removed. |
