Complexes between internalisation factor-binding factor conjugates and nucleic acid which can be absorbed into higher eucaryotic cells via endocytosis contain, in non-covalently bonded form, one or more substances with an affinity for nucleic acid with the ability to increase the efficiency of the absorption of the complexes into the cell.
