Sticking station for pigs in an abattoir is preceded by an elevator for the stunned pigs which lifts them with one leg fixed to a hook high enough to slide on a tubular monorail. An endless chain is fitted with flights which take the stunned animals one by one along a horizontal section. At the end, a downward inclined section acts as a storage space until a flight on another endless chain moves them to the next processing station.
