The rinsing machine, provides pro-rinsing, cleaning, disinfecting, neutralising, clear rinsing, drying and storage of the containers. Two rinsing systems are used, each incorporated a blocking valve for limiting the qunatity of treatment fluid being used to a min. value. The rinsing machine has upper and lower rinsing systems (1,2) within the rinsing drum (13), with a container basket positioned between them. The treatment fluid is contained in a tank (14) beneath the rinsing drum (13) and circulated via a pump (9). A blocking valve (4,5) is provided between the common press line and each rinsing system (1,2), with a further blocking valve (6) associated with the central drainage point (3). ADVANTAGE - Economical use of treatment fluid.
