PURPOSE:To provide a negative electrode of paste type cadimum for alkaline storage battery, improved in coefficients of utilization. CONSTITUTION:As a negative electrode of paste type cadimum uses metal cadimum powders with average particle diameter range of 0.5mum to 10mum in pasted form, under wet condition, high activity as a metal cadmum can be maintained. Therefore, coefficient of utilization of the negative electrode 1 of a spate type cadmum for alkaline storage battery can be improved without impeding conductivity among active materials, by including the metal cadmum which functions sufficiently as an active material with high activity. |
