<p>PURPOSE: To provide a valve which is excellent in durability, flexibility, and air tightness by forming a valve element or a valve seat of a shape memory alloy treated in such a manner that the shape memory effect is reversible and forming a passage for a fluid for expanding/contracting the member on a member formed of the shape memory alloy. CONSTITUTION: An opening 3 to which a flange 4 for connecting to a piping is formed on a valve casing 1. The opening 3 is closed by a movable valve element 6, and a valve seat 26 having a profile corresponding to a profile of the valve element 6 is arranged on the opening 3. A carriage 7 for moving the valve element 6 in a valve seat 26 direction, connecting rods 8, 9, guide rollers 14 to 17, and a roller 24 are provided on the valve element 6. In this case, the valve element 6 or the valve seat 26 is formed of shape memory alloy treated in such a manner that the shape memory effect is reversible. A passage 31 for supplying a fluid for expanding/contracting the members 6, 26 is formed on the members 6, 26 formed of shape memory alloy.</p> |
