A chair for a chairlift, with an attachment rod (9) and a weather protection cap (5) which is swivellably borne by the latter. An actuation lever (11) is movably mounted on the attachment rod (9) above the said weather protection cap (5), can be moved by the station's own control device (13,14) and whose movement is transmitted via a transmission device (8a,8b) to the swivel movement of the weather protection cap (5). In order to lock the enclosed weather protection cap there is provision for a locking device (16) to be arranged on the actuation lever (11) above the weather protection cap (5) and for the locking device (16) to lock the actuation lever (11) to the attachment rod (9) or to a part (17) connected thereto in order to lock the weather protection cap (5) in the closed position. <IMAGE> |
