PURPOSE:To provide the information recording medium of an optical tracking system having the good sliding characteristic of a magnetic head and a magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:Preformat patterns 3 are formed on one surface of a transparent substrate 2 and a reflection film 4 is formed on the surface formed with the preformat patterns 3. The magnetic recording film 5 formed with the smooth surface for sliding contact with the magnetic head is laminated on this reflection film 4. The successive lamination of an org. dye film which is changed in optical properties, such as reflectivity, by absorbing a laser beam and converting this beam to heat, the reflection film and the magnetic recording film on the surface formed with the preformat patterns 3 is also possible. The successive lamination of a recording film consisting of a low melting metal which is bored with holes by absorbing a laser beam and converting this beam to heat and the magnetic recording film on the surface formed with the preformat patterns 3 is possible as well. |
