A chipper knife (1) is fastened in a chuck (2). The knife has two supporting faces (15,14), which lie against two faces (25,24) in the chuck. The fastening of the tool can be improved if the rear supporting face (15) of the knife is provided with at least one finger (1a), which fits into a recess in the chuck (2) and whose bottom face constitutes at least a part of the bottom supporting face (14) of the knife. |
