PURPOSE:To obtain an air conditioner for vehicle that can alleviate deceleration shock of the vehicle generated when a compressor is operated. CONSTITUTION:When it is detected by an acceleration detection circuit in an engine control circuit 12 that a vehicle is accelerated, a signal for forcibly making the capacity of a variable capacity compressor 3 to a minimum level, is sent to a capacity controller 4 by an air conditioning control circuit 15. When the vehicle is sufficiently accelerated until an ATM 2 is shifted up, deceleration shock is generated on the vehicle due to the shifting up, and the capacity of the variable capacity compressor 3 is increased by the air conditioning control circuit 15 at the same time as the shifting up, so as to alleviate the deceleration shock. As for the amount to be increased, the car speed of the vehicle when it is shifted up, engine rotational number, and the capacity to be increased based on gear ratio, are calculated, and by sending a signal to the capacity controller 4 so that the amount of increase thus obtained is increased in the capacity, the shock felt by a passenger will be constantly small. |
