<p>PURPOSE:To stably execute thickness control by detecting rolling load and draft positions, calculating the fluctuation of rolling load and working amount of screw down device and compensating by feeding-back them. CONSTITUTION:Rolling load during rolling is measured with a rolling load cell and draft positions are measured with draft position detectors. Because stiffness coefficient M of rolling mill and plasticity coefficient Q of rolled stock are changed, the actual working amount DELTAs of screw down device is detected and the compensation DELTAu of drawing down is outputted to the screw down device 23 with a compensator 22. The fluctuation DELTAF of rolling load is inputted to a thickness control system 24 and controlled so as to be a stipulated thickness on the outlet side. Even when M and Q are fluctuated, thickness control can be stably executed.</p> |
