PURPOSE:To mold a thick sheet using a small amount of a slurry. CONSTITUTION:A slidable partition plate 20 is provided to a dam 10 and the dam 10 is partitioned left and right by the partition plate 20 to set one of the partitioned parts to the sump part 24 of a slurry 22. A fixing means 40 fixing the partition plate 20 to the dam 10 at an arbitrary position within the sliding range of the partition plate 20 and, when the liquid level of the slurry lowers by the reduction in the amount of the slurry 22 and no viscous flow of the slurry 22 in the gap of a blade 26 is obtained, the partition plate 20 is moved to raise the liquid level of the slurry 22 and the pressure of the slurry 22 at the gap of the blade 26 is raised to obtain sufficient viscous flow. Therefore, even when the amount of the slurry 22 is reduced, the thick slurry 22 with definite thickness can be applied to a carrier film 28 in cooperation with the drawing flow based on the movement of the carrier film 18. |
