In a portable device, a plurality of engaging portions, e.g. spigots 7a, 7b, of the frame 6 are formed on the surfaces of the frame and extend in the same direction, while the engaged portions, e.g. apertures 9a, 10a are formed on connecting terminals (9, 10) in such a manner that they can be brought into engagement with the engaging portions in the same direction. Tabs 10a, 10b of the terminals are located in apertures 8 of the frame at the same times. The frame may form part of an IC card calculator or games machine, and a battery may be mounted between the terminals. The terminal mounting arrangement facilitates automatic assembly. <IMAGE> |
