<p>PURPOSE:To record all high definition television broadcast information during absence even when a broadcast schedule time is put off. CONSTITUTION:A controller 2 gives a reservation data including a data representing a video recording start time, a video recording end time and a reserved program to be a high definition television broadcast program entered by an entry device 1 to a storage device 3, in which the data is stored. A comparator 4 receives a discrimination data representing it that a high definition television broadcast is received from a MUSE/NTSC converter 8 and permits the start of video recording based on the discrimination signal after the arrival to a video recording start time. Thus, the controller 2 commands the start of video recording to a video recording device from the start of the high definition television broadcast. The end of the video recording is commanded based on the discrimination data even after the arrival to the video recording end time.</p> |
