PURPOSE: To improve the production efficiency while quickening the automatic mounting and dismounting operation of various tires in a tire holding and fixing device to be used for finishing and inspection of product tire. CONSTITUTION: A tire holding and fixing device 10 is provided with an upper and a lower rims 54, 74 arranged in the periphery of an upper and a lower rim supports 18, 20 and a guide 16 concentrically arranged with the rim supports 18, 20. Thread rolling screw segments are intermittently provided in the periphery of the inside of the lower rim support 18 and in the periphery of the outside of the upper rim support 20. Both the rim supports 18, 20 are fitted by inserting by the screw segments so as to form an insertion joint with plural steps capable of being held together by turning one of them at 30 degree. A locking pin 46 can be moved in both the rim supports 18, 20 so that both the rim supports 18, 20 can be rotated for processing a tire 13. |
