A shaped guard device is fitted to the bottom of a motor vehicle door-glass (6) to prevent the locking mechanism within the door being reached through the gap between the door-glass (6) and the rubber weather strip (8). The device comprises a support (1) fitting flush on the door-glass. A shield portion (2) protrudes upwardly and outwardly at an approximate angle of 45 degrees. Clamp type brackets are used for fixing the device to the door-glass, the use of such brackets enabling the fixing to take place whilst the door-glass is secured within the door. <IMAGE> |
