<p>A paste for dental glass ionomer cement, containing powdered glass, a water-soluble polymer and water, and a kit comprising said paste and an aqueous solution of polycarboxylic acid. Since the powdered glass is present in pasty form, the paste is advantageous in that: 1) the paste can be accurately weighed because a constant rate discharge device is available, 2) the paste can be kneaded with the polymer solution very readily in a short time, so that a sufficient treatment time is available, 3) a homogeneous mixture is available because there occurs no aggregation of the powder due to moisture absorption, and 4) the treatment room can be kept clean because the powdered glass does not scatter during the treatment.</p> |
