PURPOSE:To keep a toner concentration inside a developing machine almost constant, for stabilizing printing quality. CONSTITUTION:A printing rate from an exposure data control means 19 and printing page number information are inputted into a toner replenishing quantity deciding means 8, toner consumption is calculated from the inputted printing rate and information and a toner consumption constant, and the toner 1 by the calculated toner consumption is replenished into the developing machine 4 form a toner hopper 4 by closing a toner replenishing valve 10 by a toner replenishing quantity control means 9. Thus, the toner is replenished at the almost same time when the toner is consumed, and the toner concentration can be always and precisely kept constant. Besides, a difference caused by a noise does not occur, but the printing quality can be improved. |
