PURPOSE: To provide a connector allowing a user to selectively connect at least one of the first printer head and the second printer head to a circuit in a printer. CONSTITUTION: A circuit 40 is provided with a first contact device 56 for connecting the first printer head 44 and a second contact device 58 for connecting the second printer head 46. A connector 42 is provided with a first slot 64 receiving a connecting member 52, a second slot 66 receiving a set of connecting members 54, and a third slot 68. Multiple male conductors 70-1 continued to the slot 64 are provided to connect the first printer head 44 to the first contact device 56 when the connecting member 52 is inserted into the slot 64. Second male conductors 72-1, 72-2 continued to the slots 66, 68 are provided to connect the second printer head 46 to the second contact device 58 when a set of connecting members 54 are inserted into the slots 66, 68. The printer head can be optionally selected by this constitution, when necessary. |
