WATER DRAINAGE ARRANGEMENT FOR FRAMES OF VEHICLE VENTILATING ROOFS

A water drainage apparatus for frames of vehicle ventilation roofs is described which utilizes water drainage tubes which are connected with water ducts in the frame. The drainage tubes protrude outwardly beyond the frame and serve to connect with hoses, which run through the body posts or pillars of the vehicle and serve to remove water. In order to prevent damage to the water drainage tubes which project outwardly from the frame during transportation and in order to adapt the frames which are provided with the water drainage apparatus of different vehicle roofs, the water drainage tubes have ends which are configured in a spherically-shaped manner at their external circumference and are received in a correspondingly shaped clamping and sealing ring in a balljoint like manner. The clamping and sealing ring is fixed inside the sleeve part 11.
