<p>PURPOSE:To provide a transformer, for high-brightness discharge-lamp triggering use, whose dielectric breakdown strength is high, whose DC resistance portion is low, whose loss is low, which is small-sized and in which the length in a winding direction between a high-voltage output winding and a low-voltage input winding can be adjusted easily. CONSTITUTION:A high-voltage output winding 52 is formed by an interlayer winding operation by which a coil layer which has been wound in an aligned manner so as to be continued from one end side to the other end side in the axial direction on a bobbin part 531 at a coil bobbin 563 is stacked via an insulating layer 54. A plurality of wire materials C1, C2 are used as one set; they are wound simultaneously; they are connected to each other at ends 521, 522. A low-voltage input winding 51 is wound on the high-voltage output winding 52.</p> |
