PURPOSE:To prevent the fogging of a photosensitive body and the scattering of a toner by using polyester resin contg. tris-2-hydroxyethyl isocyanurate as a condensation component. CONSTITUTION:A binder for a toner made of satd. polyester resin contg. tris-2- hydroxyethyl isocyanurate as a condensation component is used. This polyester resin is obtd. by condensing an arbitrary acid component such as terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, malonic acid, dimethylmalonic acid, succinic acid, glutaric acid or adipic acid with a polyol component. The polyester resin and a colorant are blended with additives such as an electric charge controlling agent, a flowability improver, a releasing agent and a plasticizer as required and they are melted, mixed and pulverized to a prescribed grain size to prepare a toner. |
