PURPOSE:To obtain a head rest having high product accuracy by a method wherein pressure, which balances the blowing pressure at foam molding, is applied to soft material through a plurality of slowing holes, which are provided on the contact surface with the soft material of the cavity in a mold and communicates with a pressurizing device provided outside the mold. CONSTITUTION:Soft material 20 made of polyurethane foam or the like is placed on the cavity 11 of a mold. After the insertion of insert or core body in the cavity 11 when necessary, foaming resin material 40 consisting of urethane or the like is poured from a pouring machine in the cavity 11 so as to integrally foam-mold together with the soft material 20. At this time, through a plurality of blowing holes 14 formed on the contact surface 13 with the flexible material of the cavity 11, dry air, the pressure of which is controlled so as to balance the blowing pressure of the foaming resin material 40 applying to the soft material 20, is applied so as to push the outer surface side of the flexible material 20. Since the blowing holes 14 are formed so as to evenly press the soft material 20, the soft material 20 is uniformly pressed with the dry air. After the completion of the foam molding, the mold is opened so as to obtain a product. |
