PURPOSE:To obtain a practical ultrasonic motor having long service life by specifying the thickness of resin mixture and the average roughness on the center line of the sliding face of a member composed of stainless steel, aluminum alloy or aluminum alloy applied with alumite film. CONSTITUTION:A resin mixture composed of an aromatic polyester resin filled in polytetrafluoroethylene is applied onto the sliding face of any one of a stator 20 or a rotor 21 disposed while pressure contacting therewith. Furthermore, stainless steel or an aluminum alloy is employed as the material for the other sliding section. Thickness of the resin mixture is set in the range of 10mum-1mm and the average roughness on the center line of the sliding face of a member composed of stainless steel, an aluminum alloy or an aluminum alloy applied with an alumite film or a blackened alumite film is set in the range of 0.03-0.3mum. Consequently, abrasion of the sliding faces of the rotor and the stator is suppressed resulting in stabilized driving for a long time. |
