PURPOSE:To improve copying efficiency and safety by interrupting a copying operation and displaying a warning even if a supplying device is removed and copying conditions are unexecuted. CONSTITUTION:When a large capacity cassette(LCC) 14c is removed during the copying action, a copying sheet paper P fed just before, is ejected from a device main body 2, and then, the device 2 is tentatively returned to a standby state. In othe words, the device main body 2 stops the energization of things except and LCD (an operational panel and a power unit 2 thereto), and simultaneously, executes the display of for instance, 'The LCC is removed, plase, set the LCC', on the LCD, at the time point of ejecting the copying sheet P fed just before, from the main body 2. If the sheet paper P is jammed on the paper feeding paths 66a-66c of a multistage paper feeder (PFP) 60, the LCC 14c is removed to expose the right side of the PFP 60, so that a guiding plate corresponding to a position where the sheet paper P is jammed is released. |
