PURPOSE:To form a filet face of a desired shape by projecting an equal parameter line to a projection face, repeatedly forming a contact between the equal parameter line and a filet cross section curve, forming the sequence of points on an original patch, and preparing a framed space by using this sequence of points in order to form the filet face. CONSTITUTION:Equal parameter lines SG1 and SG2 are projected to the projection face, the projection face is successively moved, and the forming processing of parameter points p11 and p21 is repeated, so that the sequence of points LT1 and LT2 of the first and second parameter points p11-p1n, and p21-p2n can be formed on the first and second patch vectors S(u, v)11, and S(n, v)21. Then, the framed space is prepared by using the sequence of points LT1 and LT2, and patch vectors S(u, v)11 and S(u, v)21 are reprepared. Thus, the filet face of the desired cross section shape can be easily prepared between the first and second patch vectors S(u, v)11 and S(u, v)21.
